For Sale: All Nation F7 A Unit Locomotive Roof, R/L Sides, End (1) Zamac PN#304/7-305/7-306/7-404
This is a great starter kit for any modeler with basic to intermediate skills wanting to start working on their first locomotive power for the layout. A highly durable die cast body comes with holes tapped to assemble the right and left side with a #222 nose bolt and a hand full of 4-40 filister machine screws. Building more complicated kits in stages makes sense by progressing from doing the body work, acquiring the trucks and later our All Nation transmission and drive units to power your engine.
These parts may need to have some flash removed left over from the die casting process and fitting the parts to make sure the end and roof seats down on the sides. The parts may need to be cleaned to remove any polishing compound and degreased before priming and painting.
A great deal of satisfaction is gained by putting such a detailed model together and further super detailing the hand rails, grab irons, couplers, lift hooks, stacks, etc.

The All-Nation F7 locomotive kits were die cast components and parts with good detail and somewhat heavy for pulling long trains on the layout. We will be re-issuing these kits; however, we will be supplying individual parts for the scratch builder.
The roof is cast for the F7 B Unit and cut down to fit our die cast A Unit shells. The F3 Units had a slightly different roof vents, consequently this roof would not be correct unless the F7 vents were removed and F3 castings installed in there place.
These roofs may or many not be available with extra roof detail such as lift rings or steam vents. Depends on what we have in stock.
