The Classic Walther’s Oscar & Piker kits made up of passenger car parts was a novelty on many model railroad layouts over the years. All-Nation once again introduces these kits, ideal for the beginner modeler wanting to build their own passenger car fleet. A great way to practice and build some skills before tackling a Solarium Diner or Baggage car project. What is nice about these kits is the modeler can take free liberty to change them up as various sides were used over the years. Many were painted up as different roads like Union Pacific.
However, you may want your own private executive car on your layout such as my Grandfather had painted and used a decal called “The Lazy River Line”. Perhaps you could make the Piker into an executive conference room complete with WiFi and Zoom capability for your business associates and Oscar complete with a dome for scenic viewing by your guests.
All in great fun when your model railroad fans visit your layout.
As we proceed to make improvements in parts such as ends and sides with greater 3D printing detail, the depth and dimension of the parts will stand out compared to the original kits. Some of these kits will include original parts left over in our inventory. In any case, we believe these are great starter kits for the entry level and newcomer modelers to 2 Rail O Scale.
Most of the 3D parts in this kit are made with ABS. 3D parts sold as is straight off the Prusa Printer built plate.
