At All Nation, we are using a wide variety of motors to power our 2 Rail O Scale engines as well as developing custom mounting platforms. Designed to be used in older legacy models as well as new product, our intention is to give modelers many options to do retrofitting or upgrading their fleet of motive power. Most of our specifications on the dimensions also favor the use of our power truck transmission drives and gear units connections.
We hope this makes it easier to implement and install new motors in a wide variety of equipment, whether that is in a traction model, Doodlebugs, or converting to 2 rail or upgrading a dummy unpowered locomotive.
This motor is a heavy duty double shaft design. The motor may not fit nicely in to all types of body shells. Thus, careful measurement is required. This motor has the power for most road engines whereby both trucks can take power from this unit.
