This item comes with 4 tops and 4 bottoms of the filigree; enough to do 2 observation ends of the Narrow Vestibule Passenger Car.\u00a0 In addition, we add in one additional top and bottom on which you can test\/practice the stain or paint you want to do with the items.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is occasionally difficult to find the specific filigree required to complete a car.\u00a0 In the case of the narrow vestibule car<\/a> (link to original photo)<\/a> that is the exact problem. Thus, we embarked on trying to fill a need for a specific request for this filigree. <\/span><\/p>\n

The challenge was to find a very good view of the exact end of the car.\u00a0 The link above helped tremendously to finalize this pattern; however, we also found helpful the view from the Car Builder’s Dictionary from 1906.<\/span>

This specific filigree is cut from acetate.\u00a0 We find that the acetate takes up a dye (something as simple as food coloring) with a very good outcome to get that used look of the times.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
