For Sale:<\/b> Bolster pair with car end center sill for Caboose Platforms and Coupler Pocket mount. These can be used on the All Nation CB&Q or C&NW western style caboose\/waycar models. Printed on the Prusa 3D Printer, these have been modeled after the original diecast castings. However, the original castings were drilled with pilot holes to mount these to the wooden floor using small flathead wood screws. We have improve this part by embedding 2 2-56 nuts so that the part can be mounted with 2 2-56 machine screws from the top inside of the car. Consequently, hiding them so they are not visible from the underside of the car. Typically we would laminate a 3D Printed skin over the top of the floor inside the car to simulate the wood flooring.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The hole for the king pin has been embedded in the plastic a single 4-40 nut for mounting the trucks.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Some clean up of the part maybe required after removing the brim printed around the perimeter of the part on the printer build plate.<\/span><\/div>\n

This part is printed using Prusa ABS filament and is easily tapped if mounting a pocket\/coupler pocket is required.<\/span><\/div>\n
