4th in our series of converting an MTH 3 Rail to run for 2 Rail layouts. The customized chassis is available for use in non-powered models, or powered without the engine body or fully ready to run with a single or dual power drives.<\/span><\/p>\n

This implementation utilized our new helical gear tower transmissions in the Blomberg Truck installed in the rear truck allowing for either added weight that can be placed on the front end or other electronics. Our default conversion is wired for all wheel pickup on 2 rail with a 12 volt DC motor. The chassis mounts using the default studs in the front and rear ends of the engine body. We do not include these screws as the original screws could be utilized. However, those studs could be tapped for a 4-40, 5-40 or 6-32 and must be determined by the modeler.<\/span><\/p>\n
