For the stamp collector who enjoys Italian and Vatican stamps, this beautiful hardcover stamp album displays a variety of stamps. Many of the stamps are identified by the year & stamp numbers. The album is as it was when first purchased. Many of the stamps are listed by the year (circa 1930-1990’s). A photo of each page is provided in this listing.
Each page has a cover and each stamp is behind a clear shelf. We believe it is described as being an 8 page album, 9 sleeves per page (front/back of each page, on a black page with clear strips and glassine interleaving.
This album was purchased while visiting Lyon, France. We had fun treasure hunting outside at Les Puces du Canal. It is known as the second largest flea market in France! As they say, sometimes you can unearth hidden gems at that market. We have enjoyed looking at these beautiful stamps many times over the years, and we know someone else will also appreciate this lovely album.
