Living in Irving, Texas, provided many opportunities to visit the Mustangs of Las Colinas sculpture. This blackwork stitching was inspired by those sculptures.
This purchase provides a glimpse of the beauty of the horses as interpreted by our Mother, the crafter. These three framed (behind glass) horses have intricate stitching using the craft known as blackwork stitch art. The back of the pictures are also finished in a pretty fabric and a hook for immediate hanging. Each of the three items measures approximately 8.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches high.
The artwork has been within the family and in a smoke free environment since they were made. We know whomever owns this artwork next will get many hours of enjoyment looking at these pictures.
