If there ever was a Brotherhood of Model Railroad Engineers, it would be a world wide fellowship of all persons engaged in this hobby.

We are proud to have been given permission by Mr. Hisao Sugiyama to link to his blog in Tokyo, Japan.  As part of a very active community of O Scale Model Railroaders, Mr. Sugiyama and friends share their enthusiasm and love for traction modeling and American Interurban transportation.  Similarly, they like train shows and modular layouts, too!  The summertime Iron Festival is a well attended train show.

If you can read Japanese, you are good to go and enjoy his blog.

At various times you will find links to short videos such as his Windsplitter painted up in his private transit line colors (aka also know as a “Wind Cutter”).

Mr. Sugiyama‘s  blog is filled with great photographs, real prototype as well as modeled street scenes, old photo collections of traction and excellent commentary.

We here at All-Nation hope you enjoy this connection and share it with your friends.
