Description
Because the circumstance arises where I needed various thickness of washer to aid in adjusting the height of my freight, passenger and sometimes engines at the bolster, I decided to print my own set of washers to keep in the model workshop. This makes life much easier to have these on hand as you start building a model or putting the finishing touches at final assembly. Both the car body and couplers have to be at the right height and sometimes it takes a little extra time to get it just right. You want all your cars to couple at the standard height so they operate on the layout without coming uncoupled on uneven track, switching or on curves.
For Sale: A total of 96 washers, 12 washers each at the following thicknesses: 0.35mm, 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1.0mm, 1.25mm, 1.50mm, 1.75mm and 2.0mm. Included is a reference sheet to make it easier to compare a washer thickness against the sheet and forego using the micrometer. The diameter on all the washers: OD = 7mm and the IN = 4mm.
Printed with PLA filament sold as is straight off the Prusa Printer built plate, all sales final no returns. PLA is not dishwasher safe and may deform in a hot automobile in the summer time as it has a relatively low glass-transition temperature.
