This is an excellent piece for the journeyman model craftsman for a ready to run item. Some flash clean-up on the engine shell will be required. You can hardly go wrong with what can be done to this All Nation F7 A Unit. The motor is a older Pittman 24 vdc single shaft mounted in the fuel tank and is a direct drive via universal joints. The standard All Nation Atwater Blomberg geared truck has the bronze journal bushing type bearings while the unpowered front-end truck has ball bearings. It tracks very well on rough track and runs quiet. Some additional parts came with this unit such as sway bars and brake cylinders to be added by the modeler. The model will need to be de-greased, primed, painted and a decal added to fully complete the engine. Wired for 2 rail DC current pickup, this unit is ready-to-run. Couplers are not included.
