The item sold here are the INTERIOR for the CB&Q Caboose measuring the same as the outside CB&Q sides at 188mm x 45mm; however, it is a lighter “skin” for the detailed inside walls.
One of the most popular caboose kits from All Nation is the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Caboose. Popular because this type of equipment had so many variants and it evolved over the years by the Burlington. I am making available parts for the legacy products and kits for repair or upgrade as well as creating new product to support scratch builders in O Scale 2 Rail.
Wherever possible, I am improving on the original parts by replicating them in the CAD program and printing them. The outside core walls (sold separately) are approximately 188 mm x 45 mm x 1.25 with the scribe detail printed on top of the core. The original sides from All Nation were either wood scribed with no window openings or Swarthboard scribed. The Swarthboard tended to warp or be subject to humidity or moisture if not completely sealed with paint inside and out.
Sold as is straight off the Prusa Printer built plate, all sales final no returns. PLA is not dishwasher safe and may deform in a hot automobile in the summer time as it has a relatively low glass-transition temperature.
