For Sale: All Nation Concrete Ties Dead Rail Flex Track (20″ Section) for Power on Board Engines Code 148 3D Printed PN#532AN

Dead Rail, just what it means as it does not conduct electrical power. Modelers switching over to “Power On Board” in their locomotives have the advantage of not spending time under the bench wiring the layout for train power and control. Flex Track is ideal for the new modeler that wants to get quickly started building a layout in O Scale 2 Rail. This type of track is great for mainline or yard switching track plans. Aside from the ease of putting down a roadbed on straight away and curved sections, the cost is greatly reduced from a traditional nickel silver track at $10 to $12 per foot, this product comes in at around $4.00 per foot. The savings are significant allowing for acquiring some of the higher end turnouts available on the market to go with our track. Concrete ties will be soon available for standard turnout so keep a look out for our “What’s New” on the site.

3D Printed in up to 4 colors with PLA filament, the modern day welded rail on concrete ties is a must for the layout that is going with modern equipment and prototype technologies. We can also print track for out door garden railroads in ABS or ABS+ via special order request.

This track can be glued or nailed down with pins or spikes. Holes are in the tie plates for easy spiking into the roadbed. The rail is Code 148 and can be printed in a solid nickel silver color, solid dark brown rust color or a combination of rusty rail and a nickel silver color rail head for the most realism.

In addition, you may find that rail joiners are no longer necessary by simply butt joining the rail ends with a drop of CA glue, just like the thermite welds done on the prototype roads.

Designed to increase the fun and to take some of the challenges out from doing hand laid track construction on the layout, we think this product will allow you to enjoy the hobby even more.
