At All Nation, we are using a wide variety of motors to power our 2 Rail O Scale engines as well as developing custom mounting platforms. Designed to be used in older legacy models as well as new product, our intention is to give modelers many options to do retrofitting or upgrading their fleet of motive power. Most of our specifications on the dimensions also favor the use of our power truck transmission drives and gear units connections.
We hope this makes it easier to implement and install new motors in a wide variety of equipment, whether that is in a traction model, Doodlebugs, or converting to 2 rail or upgrading a dummy unpowered locomotive.
This motor is a light duty single shaft. The motor is a size that will fit into most body shell either below or on top of the engine floor; for direct power transmission to our gear box units or above the floor to connect to our tower drive transmissions, respectively. The motor shaft can also be cut shorter for custom fitting the drive train coupler, universals or extenders.
