Rare Straight Side Flat Car, body and underframe one-piece aluminum Adams casting. Perfect semi-finished kit for the beginner modeler ready to develop the skills to build out the car detail.
Kit comes with a set of old/new stock trucks, end sills, dummy couplers, screws, brake wheel & wire, stakes with pin nails to fasten the stakes. Stakes can be cut to shorter length if so desired. The wooden deck is ideal for situating various loads. Under-body is a fish-belly type and under-body detail is not included.
The aluminum casting weight is over 9 oz. with trucks & couplers almost 1 lb. in total, thus you will find this car rides the rails nicely pounding over your crossing.
