For Sale: All Nation P48 Flex Ties Simulated Wood With Tie Plates For Code 100 3D Printed (4 Sections, 9.5″ each) PN#582AN
Note: Rail not included. Shown in pictures for demonstration purposes only.
This P48 Flex Track ties for simulated wood with tie plates is ideal for the new modeler that wants to get quickly started or add to building a layout in P48 2 Rail. Aside from the ease of putting down a roadbed on straight away and curved sections, the cost is greatly reduced from a traditional nickel silver track at $10 to $12 per foot, this product comes in at around $4.00 per foot. The savings are significant allowing for acquiring some of the higher end turnouts available on the market to go with our track.
3D Printed in basically any color (brown is our default) with PLA filament, we can also print track for back porch or out door garden railroads in ABS, ABS+ or PETG via special order request.
This track can be glued or nailed down with pins or spikes. Holes are in the tie plates for easy spiking into the roadbed. These ties with plates are made for Code 100.
Designed to increase the fun and to take some of the challenges out from doing hand laid track construction on the layout, we think this product will allow you to enjoy the hobby even more.
This product is also available without simulated tie plates for modelers that wish to use their own plates when spiking down the rail. Holes for spiking may need to be slightly cleared before spiking the rail due to the printing. Depending on the size of the spike and the length, the holes might need a little more clearance if it is desired to spike into the rode bed. If the ties are glued and there is a glue line surface, spikes may not easily get through the hard layer of glue. Consequently, the diameter of the holes for the spike are of potential use for shorter spikes that can press fit into the plastic tie to hold down the rail.
