For Sale:  All Nation Line Outhouse Kit (9 Pieces) PN#MS7PLA

For those outdoor areas where your pike is in need of an outhouse, this fun 9 piece kit is just the ticket!  This basic structure is 3D printed using PLA and will allow the modeller to add the coloring or texture to match their needs.

For sale in this 3D all PLA kit we include the following parts: roof, back wall, side walls (right and left), floor, wooden toilet seat, wooden toilet seat support wall, door frame and door.  Additional photos demonstrate what it could look like prior to any painting.  The figures, sidewalk and trees are for example only and not sold with this product.

ALL Nation Line Outhouse Instructions (Suggestions only.  Modeller may be creative in many other ways.)

  1. Lay out pieces, clean any edges of support material (note: texture of surfaces prior to gluing).
  2. Dry fit pieces to be familiar with the build.
  3. Painting pieces prior to assembly is left up to the modeler.
  4. Pay close attention to right angles and squaring as you glue.
  5. Allow glue to set after each step.
  6. Glue the wooden toilet seat to the toilet seat support wall and set aside.
  7. Glue the side walls to the back, allow glue to set and then attach the unit to the floor.
  8. Glue the toilet seat with the attached wall support to the inside back wall and sides.
  9. Attach the roof
  10. Attach the door frame
  11. Determine desired door position and glue in place (door is non-functioning and can be glued anywhere from closed to wide open).

Helpful Hints

Basic types of plastic glues such as super glue or Walther’s Goo can be used; however, to learn more about glue and 3D prints there is a very good reference article at the link below from Prusa Research:
Information on painting on PLA is plentiful on the web however Acrylics work well, too.
This kit is 3D printed using PLA.   3D parts sold as is straight off the Prusa Printer built plate and some clean up of the edges may be required.  PLA is not dishwasher safe and may deform in a hot automobile in the summer time as it has a relatively low glass-transition temperature between 50 and 80 °C and a melting temperature between 170 and 180 °C.
