For Sale: Under our In-House brand, Scale Model Railways, the 45′ Flat Car Kit comes with assembled trucks with 33″ Wheels. This is a unique one piece O Scale 2 Rail model casting that weighs almost 10 ounces. The king pin hole is drilled and tapped for the 2 4-40 screws that are used to mount the trucks. The kit comes with a pair of Kadee 805 couplers.
The flatbed load are defective AAR frames that are destined to be returned to the foundry by the locomotive builder. Arrangement of the load is left up to the modeler. The modeler will note that the bed has the line work of wood decking and the model will need to be primed, painted and or weathered to finish it out. Due to the weight of this freight car, this model will be very stable in its operation riding the rails.
