The All Nation Line replacement internal KTM gear set with matching worm gear (20 teeth) and the pinion gear (14 teeth) are 3D printed with:
PC/ABS, or PCABS, is a Polycarbonate and ABS blend. It’s an industrial material with high resistance to impact, temperature, UV light, and chemicals (salts, acids, alkali). This is one of the strongest 3D printing filaments out there.
If the original internal gears made of either nylon or delrin failed, this replacement drops into place and is made to very close tolerance. The installation assumes the worm and the spur on the axle are in good condition in order to work.
