Description
For Sale: All Nation Hard Neponset Black Waterproof Paper (1 Sheet ~9.5″x2.5″x0.03″) 3D Printed PN#391AN
This product is 3D printed using Flex filament; thus, it is very flexible and can be cut to size to fit the modeler’s needs.
The use of this material in the days when manufacturers and shops were building wooden cars and cabooses is well documented in the engineering blue prints in our archive. These documents came directly from the Chicago Burlington & Quincey Railroad engineering department describing the construction of the Waycar and maintenance thereof.
This product can be used in several manners for the scratch builder including:
1. In the construction of wood cabooses as underlayment. The underlayment is the layer of flooring that sits directly under the finished flooring but on top of the sub-floor.
2. On caboose roofs or other rail car construction, because it was a water barrier and would have been semi-equivalent to tar paper today or asphalt shingle.
3. In the caboose walls the Neponset was between the framing and outside sheathing.
This product is 3D printed using Flex filament and is straight off the Prusa printer.
