This helix gear is machined to All Nation’s engineering specifications that replaced the very early involute gear configurations on the transmission tower drivers for the F3/F7, 1000 HP Switcher and various other 3rd party models that implemented this style of power transmissions. Part #4050 inside diameter to press fit onto Part #4041, the split coupling, also known as a spline which allows axial movement and power transfer to the opposing wheel set in the truck.
#4050 has 26 teeth, left hand with an outside diameter approximately 20 mm, inside diameter 6.3mm and 3.55 mm in width. The above O.D. should give you .002 – .004 backlash with the mating gear #4049.
