For Sale: All Nation Line Deck (10″ x 2.5″) Kit with Stairs, Stringer & Toolbox 3D print PLA PN#MS4 PLA
This kit is a deck that is quite versatile. Depending on your needs it could be a deck in front of a building, a station platform or a pier at the lake. It’s a unique and simple project developed by All Nation Line. There are only a few parts, and all are 3-D printed in PLA plastic.
This kit includes the larger deck (10″x 2/5″) and additional supports and fascia strips to stabilize the longer deck. It is similar to our smaller Deck Kit (7″ x 2-1/8″) with Stairs, Stringer & Toolbox 3D print PLA PN#MS3 PLA.
Included in this larger deck kit:
- The decking is 10″ x 2.5″ (0.5mm thickness)
- There are 20 support columns, 10 for each side for stability
- Three stairs with treads and risers, all in one piece
- Stringers, 3 for each set of stairs.
- One tool box
- 4 fascia strips to add stability and for a finishing touch.
Note: Miniature people are not included in this sale. They are for 1:48 scale demonstration purposes only. Some of the photos on the side are from the smaller kit to demonstrate kit as it is being built.
Helpful Hints:
We used Duro Super Glue for this project but other glue products could be used at the modellers discretion based on PLA plastics.
We started our initial build by gluing the center stringers first then the left and right stringers to the underside of the stairs. Take care when gluing the stringers to make sure the first step is flat (note the ends of the stringers are slightly different).
We then glued the support columns on the four corners of the deck platform followed by equal spacing of the remaining support columns on each side. Once the glue was set we attached the stairs to the decking. The final step was adding the fascia strips for a finishing touch.
This kit is an excellent project for a beginner or anyone who needs to refresh basic skills.
