For Sale: All Nation Line Sprockets (4 Pairs) Replacement for Tower Drive PC/ABS Blend PN#273AN
Some Power Truck Transmission Tower Drives in All Nation engine models that were chain drives and used a pair of Delrin sprockets. Often times these sprockets developed a crack and or wore out. This product is a replacement where the top sprocket has 10 teeth and the bottom sprocket slightly larger has 16 teeth. Each sprocket has a hub Inner Diameter of approximately 6.06mm (0.2385″) designed to fit on to the 4041 and 4032 drive shaft parts.
The overall approximate dimensions for the top 10 tooth sprocket is 11 mm in diameter and 3.1 mm from the back side to the top of the hub.
The overall approximate dimensions for the bottom 16 tooth sprocket is 16.7 mm in diameter and 3.1 mm from the back side to the top of the hub.
The sprockets are 3D Printed using an advance Polycarbonate/ABS blend filament and is a very durable material. The standard Serv-O-Link chain is recommended.
Fitting the sprockets onto shafts the modeler may find the need to slightly hone the inside diameter. Or, it may snap right onto the shaft as a press fit. In either case, a drop of CA or Loctite is recommended to secure the mount surfaces. Make sure both sprockets are in alignment vertically by viewing the transmission from the side. If they are not aligned, perhaps one of the sprockets will need to be turned around 180 degrees more than likely the smaller on the upper shaft or the hub filed down a little. In the original transmission kits from All Nation, the hubs were extended further out so a modeler could trim the hub ring down. Be sure the sprocket is straight on and rotates without any sway.
Note: The tower drive photos are for demonstration purposes only – not included in this sale.
