Description
For Sale: Trolley Freight Car wheel sets for trucks used on your traction line. These sets are not insulated and will not work on 2 rail DC powered track. Note that the ends of these axles are slightly large for these bearings. Therefore, the modeler will have to mount the axle in a drill press and gently reduce the diameter such that the end of the axle fits snug in the bearing. Snug because the axle should not turn in the bearing, the bearing race should rotate and that is what gives for smooth operation.
Each set consists of the following parts:
4 axles
8 33″ scale wheels with small center holes not insulated
8 2x5x2.5 ball bearings for journals
Side frames of your choice must be supplied and do not ship with this kit.
