Note: Engine Shell and trucks are NOT included and are in photos for demonstration purposes only. Screws for mounting the chassis to the front and back end of the engine are not included as we recommend reuse of existing MTH screws.
Parts List:
1 Front platform
1 Rear platform
2 Motor bridge sections
4 4-40 x 1/4″flat head screws to assemble the chassis
1 Fuel Tank
1 Fuel Tank Cap (optional Use)
4 4-40 x 3/8″ screws (longer) to attach fuel tank
4 Round Optional mount plugs and 4 thin rectangular washer plates (see video) for added chassis stability with the engine body.
In order to give you a better perspective on this conversion project, please view these video I put together to document some of the process.
Required Tools:
1 #43 Tap drill bit for tapping the 4-40 screw holes
1 4-40 tap
1 medium file to clean up parts that may have printer support build material
Depending on the type of trucks to be mounted or power installed, the king pin holes may need to be enlarged or the build support material removed on the top side.
Pilots and couplers DO NOT come with this kit. If a motor installation is desired sometime later, we might be able to help to accommodate
various motor sizes with a reprint of the bridge for custom mounting purposes.
Items come straight off the Prusa 3D Printer (ABS Filament) and may require some build clean up.
